First time I participated in English Corner was at last summer vacation. I actually knew this activity for long time, so if you asked me why you come to English Corner so late, all I can tell you was I might be so busy in club or school stuffs. Anyway, after started my first class in English Corner, I found out this activity can help me improve my English speaking skill and the most important of all you can meet so many different people here. Take me as a example, I met Joey, a friend from Chicago. He is a swimming coach and we have a great time playing chess, seeing a movie together. Also I met Chen, the assistant (or teacher) of English Corner. He is really nice. Not only did he teach me lots of English vocabulary, but also introduce some wonderful movies and actors. One is “Two and Half Man”, a sitcom with much easier English for us to understand. Well, I personally recommend this series. Those episodes are really interesting and funny, making you laugh to death. I really thank Chen for his contribution to our students and also being a friend of mine. We together hold Christmas party and have a funny lunch time every week. Others are Neil, Steven, Ryan, Allen, and Janice...... so many people you can meet and become friends here.
So, stop wasting your lunch time. Come to English Corner. You will find how fascinating and charming English is. Meet different people here. You will find how big the world is. And do not worry about your lunch. They also provide free lunch. After all, why should we miss a free lunch?
